Solidarity Eden Foundation (SEF)
This Refugee Resource Center in Kampala (Uganda) now serves more than 250 refugees from conflict-ridden surrounding countries, many of whom face stigma and are viewed as a burden by local residents. SEF provides a welcoming, supportive environment--especially for youth—and equips them with the skills they need to integrate into their new community. East Africa Leadership Forum
Since 2016 we have dedicated funds from our grant pool to support the East Africa Leadership Forum (EALF). The forum belongs to leaders of our current and former grant partners, who structure and facilitate the meeting to suit their needs for leadership development, mutual problem solving, and resource development.
This annual multi-day event is run solely by Pangea’s partners without donors present. In recent gatherings, the group has focused on planning collaborative visits, and sharing skills to help each participant benefit from the experience and wisdom of the group.

Kisiwa Vision Women Group
Kisiwa Women Group, located near Bungoma in Kenya, was founded in 2019 to support widows and orphaned youth through income‑generating and savings initiatives. In recent years, industrial brick production has led to severe soil erosion, stagnant water pools that attract mosquitoes, and extensive deforestation as trees were cut for kiln fuel. At the same time, the community continues to face a strong need for sustainable agriculture and income generation.
